Ranveer Brar’s New Golden Dish At Kashkan, The Epitome Of Flavours In Dubai

While growing up in India, every resident consumed daal. No matter what part of India you stay in, daal is usually included in your staple diet in some or the other form. Be it spicy or sweet, it’s challenging to find an Indian meal which doesn’t include Daal. So taking the benefit of this and further spreading the importance and flavours of this lentil dish, Ranveer has created this golden dish.

Taking its inspiration from both ends of the continent, Kashmir and Kanyakumari, Ranveer Brar calls his restaurant ‘Kashkan’. The usually created simple dish, Daal will be served with a royal hint at his restaurant in Festival City, Dubai.

Why Does Dubai Gold Dishes?

Dubai boasts of an array of gold dishes because people here love to relish dishes that look and taste royal. Hence, Ranveer Brar has expressed the concept of merging the richness of Indian cuisine with the vibrancy of Dubai. Chef Ranveer Brar explained that Daal KashKan is infused with 24k gold, and prepared using premium spices and pure ghee. Each glimmering bit in the dish shares a tale of fusion, encouraging guests to partake in a culinary experience that transcends borders, capturing the essence of both India and Dubai.

While gold-infused dishes may add a touch of luxury and cultural significance to culinary experiences, any potential health benefits are likely minimal. It’s essential to approach such dishes with an understanding of their cultural and aesthetic value rather than expecting significant nutritional contributions. Individuals with specific health concerns or allergies should consult with healthcare professionals before consuming gold-infused dishes.

In traditional medicine, gold has been associated with anti-inflammatory properties. However, the quantity used in culinary gold leaf or flakes is minimal, and any potential health impact is likely negligible. Hence the dish recreated with a hint of gold by Ranveer Brar is totally and edible to relish.
