The Green Planet Dubai is known for being the only indoor tropical rainforest in the Middle East and for its slew of exciting activities. So, keeping up with the holiday spirits, they are bringing festive vibes to the emirate. For this, they have arranged for an eco-friendly, simulated snowfall at the biodome and even in the Nature Park, which is outdoors.
To celebrate this special time of the year, children will be welcome to participate in Santa’s Workshop, which will be happening from Fridays to Sundays. In case you’re wondering, they will get to decorate Christmas cards, which will be done with the help of sustainable materials and even showcase their artistic skills. Not to mention, they will also get to write letters to Santa, who will then choose a letter on January 7, 2024 allowing him to make one kid’s wish come true.

As such, families will also be able to take selfies with Santa Claus. Yes, he will appear in his newly designed green outfit on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 11 AM, 12 PM, 1 PM, 3 PM, 4 PM, and 5 PM. He will be making an appearance at the Nature Park itself and the rainforest’s beloved mascots, called ‘Friends of The Green Planet Dubai’ will also be making an appearance for a meet and greet. These adorable mascots will be making an appearance for young fans at 11 AM, 12 PM, 4 PM, and 5 PM.

Keeping up with the holiday spirits, The Green Planet Dubai has built a creative Christmas tree, which has been made with recycled materials. This has been done in collaboration with GEMS Education, thereby emphasising the importance of a greener future. As it happens, the good folks here also have something in store for foodies. They are offering festive treats, including a wide array of yummies at the Rainforest Café. So you can indulge in hot chocolate, Yule log cake, Turkey Ham & Cheese sandwich, BBQ Turkey Pizza, Slow Roast Turkey Roulade, and loads more for a delectable feast.
Finally, a festive market will also be taking place at the Nature Park from December 15 to 17. Making it the perfect place to pick up a unique festive present.
